Terms of Service

Effective August 27, 2026 · Rebuild

These Terms govern access to Rebuild’s Discord backup, verification, restore, bot-hosting, and related account services. By creating an account or using Rebuild, you agree to them.

1. Agreement and eligibility

You must be legally able to enter this agreement and comply with Discord’s applicable terms. If you use Rebuild for an organization or community, you confirm that you have authority to bind it and permission to connect its Discord server.

2. The service

Rebuild provides tools for recording supported Discord server configuration, managing verification flows, hosting authorized bots, reviewing activity, and restoring supported configuration. Features and limits vary by plan and may change as Discord’s APIs change.

3. Accounts and security

You are responsible for accurate account information, protecting passwords, passkeys, authenticator codes, recovery codes, and connected accounts, and promptly reporting suspected compromise. You may not share access in a way that defeats plan limits or security controls.

4. Discord authorization

You authorize Rebuild to use the Discord permissions you approve through OAuth2 or bot installation. Rebuild will request only permissions needed for selected features. You may revoke access through Discord, but doing so can disable backups, verification, transfers, restores, or bot operation.

5. Acceptable use

You may not use Rebuild to violate law, Discord rules, privacy rights, or intellectual-property rights; obtain unauthorized access; harass users; distribute malware; evade enforcement; sell or disclose personal data unlawfully; overload the service; or misrepresent Rebuild verification. You must provide notices and obtain consent where required.

6. Backups, verification, and restores

Backups may exclude content Discord does not expose or that your permissions do not allow. Restores can change a server and should be reviewed before confirmation. You remain responsible for server permissions, moderation decisions, retention choices, and checking restoration results.

7. Plans, billing, and cancellation

Paid features are billed through the disclosed payment provider at the price and interval shown at purchase. Taxes may apply. Unless stated otherwise, subscriptions renew until canceled. Cancellation stops future renewal but does not retroactively refund used service, except where required by law.

8. Ownership

Rebuild and its software, branding, and documentation belong to their respective owners. You retain rights in content and configuration you lawfully submit. You grant Rebuild a limited license to process that material solely to provide, secure, and improve the service.

9. Availability and changes

The service is provided on an as-available basis. Maintenance, provider outages, API restrictions, security incidents, or force-majeure events may interrupt features. We may modify or discontinue features and will provide reasonable notice for material changes when practical.

10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Rebuild disclaims implied warranties and is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or lost-profit damages. Rebuild’s aggregate liability for a claim will not exceed fees you paid for the affected service during the preceding twelve months.

11. Suspension and termination

You may stop using Rebuild at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for abuse, security risk, nonpayment, legal requirements, or material breach. Data deletion and export remain subject to the Privacy Policy, technical limitations, and legal retention duties.

12. Disputes and governing terms

Before filing a formal claim, each party agrees to attempt good-faith informal resolution. Mandatory consumer rights in your country remain unaffected. The operator’s governing law and venue should be inserted here before commercial launch.

13. Contact

Legal notices and questions should be sent through the official support address published by Rebuild. Add the operating entity name, physical address, and legal contact before accepting public paid customers.
